Motul 8100 X-CLEAN 5W-40

Description

Motul 8100 X-CLEAN 5W-40 is a fully synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil from the 8100 line. It is intended for Euro 4-6 petrol and diesel engines with a catalytic converter and particulate filter that need a high-HTHS ACEA C3 oil.

It is rated ACEA C3 and API SN and holds official MB 229.51 approval. It meets the requirements of BMW Longlife-04, VW 505.00, VW 505.01, GM dexos2, Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, Ford WSS-M2C917-A, Chrysler MS-12991, Fiat 9.55535-GH2, Fiat 9.55535-S2 and Fiat 9.55535-T2 without official approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 172, HTHS 3.6 mPa·s, pour point -39 °C, sulphated ash 0.80 %. Available in 1, 4 and 5 litres.

Application

Euro 4-6 petrol and diesel cars with a catalytic converter and particulate filter, where the manufacturer requires a high-HTHS ACEA C3 oil.
