Description

Motul 8100 X-CLEAN EFE 5W-30 is a fully synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil from the 8100 line. It suits modern petrol and diesel engines needing a high-HTHS ACEA C3 or fuel-saving ACEA C2 oil; EFE stands for enhanced fuel economy.

It is rated ACEA C2, ACEA C3 and API SQ and holds official BMW Longlife-04, MB 229.52, Opel OV0401547-G30 and Opel OV0401547-D30 approvals. It meets the requirements of VW 505.00, VW 505.01, Fiat 9.55535-S1 and Fiat 9.55535-S3 without official approval, and is compatible with particulate filters.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 12.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 169, HTHS 3.5 mPa·s, pour point -42 °C, sulphated ash 0.78 %. Available in 1 to 208 litres.
