Shell Helix Ultra ECT C3 5W-30

Description

Shell Helix Ultra ECT C3 5W-30 is a fully synthetic mid-SAPS oil for cars, with moderate levels of sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur. It is intended for modern petrol engines, diesels with a particulate filter, gas engines and hybrids, and does not harm the particulate filter or catalytic converter.

The oil is rated ACEA C3 and API SP and holds official BMW Longlife-04, MB 229.31, MB 229.51, MB 229.52 and Chrysler MS-11106 approvals.

Typical figures: 12.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, 69 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 174, pour point -45 °C, flash point 238 °C.

Application

Modern petrol cars, diesels with a particulate filter and LPG or CNG engines, hybrids included.
