Description
Motul 8100 X-POWER 10W-60 is a fully synthetic engine oil from the 8100 line that maintains a strong oil film under high thermal load. It is intended for highly uprated petrol engines, whether naturally aspirated, supercharged or turbocharged, whose makers specify a 10W-60 viscosity.
It is rated ACEA A3/B4 and API SP. It meets the requirements of Fiat 9.55535-H3 without official approval; the data sheet lists no other approvals.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 23.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 183, HTHS 5.8 mPa·s, pour point -33 °C, base number 12.5 mg KOH/g. Available in 1 to 208 litres.
It is designed for sports cars and track days where 10W-60 is specifically prescribed.
Application
Highly uprated petrol engines, naturally aspirated, supercharged or turbocharged, for which the manufacturer specifies 10W-60, including Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Maserati and Lotus cars.
