Description

Motul 6100 SYN-CLEAN 5W-30 is a Technosynthese synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil from the 6100 line. It is intended for Euro 4-6 petrol and diesel car engines with catalytic converters and particulate filters that need an ACEA C3 oil, including those of Mercedes-Benz, the VW Group, GM and Chrysler.

The oil is rated ACEA C3 and meets the API SN level. The data sheet lists no official approvals: it meets the requirements of MB 229.51, VW 505.00, VW 505.01, GM dexos2 and Chrysler MS-11106 without formal approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 12.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 161, HTHS 3.5 mPa·s, sulphated ash 0.79 %. Available in sizes from 1 to 1000 litres.

Application

Cars with Euro 4-6 petrol and diesel engines, with a catalytic converter or particulate filter, where the maker requires ACEA C3, including Mercedes-Benz, VW Group, GM and Chrysler models.
