The Chevrolet Captiva is a crossover combining the strength, reliability and space of a true SUV, purpose-built for the needs of a modern family. The Chevrolet Captiva can be classed alongside mid-size sedans, having a stylish interior and the practicality of a genuine mid-size car, where reliability, safety and comfort come first.

The five-door Chevrolet Captiva SUV is offered in a five-door layout, in five- and seven-seat configurations, across three trims. The first trim, the 3.2 AT, has a 3.2-litre V6 petrol engine producing 225 hp. The second Captiva trim, the 2.4 AT, has the same petrol engine at 2.4 litres and 136 hp. In Europe, all-wheel-drive Chevrolet Captiva models with the petrol engine have become fairly widespread, along with the diesel versions. Today, manufacturers fit every Chevrolet Captiva trim with either a manual or an automatic transmission.
