New ultra-powerful BMW Power M3 Tornado RS

The German tuning house G-Power has announced it has finished developing the most powerful BMW M3 in the marque’s history. The house has named its creation the Power M3 Tornado RS. The car packs 720 hp and hits two hundred kilometres per hour in 9.5 seconds.

The tuners’ main tool was a mechanical supercharger called the SK Sporty Drive, developed in-house. The previous generation of this unit lifted the M3 GTS’s output from 450 to 635 hp. This time around, the system’s 3rd generation was used.

After the third-generation kit was fitted, the 4-litre engine now puts out 720 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The car’s dynamics changed dramatically as a result. Zero to a hundred now takes the sports car 3.7 seconds.

Naturally, the work didn’t stop at the supercharger. The cylinder block internals and the cooling system were upgraded, and a titanium exhaust system was fitted. The body was also worked on, with carbon elements cutting the weight down. On top of that, the car got 20-inch wheels with powerful brakes.
