Shell refreshes its lubricant range

The Shell concern has introduced a new line of industrial oils, greases and transmission fluids on the Russian market.

For three years the company’s specialists worked on developing the new industrial line to meet the current demands of industry and equipment manufacturers. The new line is much simpler than the previous one, and the products have received simpler, clearer names and designations. On top of that, a new brand, Shell Gadus, has been launched to cover the greases.

The product portfolio covers the entire core family of mineral, semi-synthetic and synthetic materials for protecting industrial machinery. All the products have gained improved formulas and properties for solving specific tasks, while duplicate and outdated materials have been retired. Shell Gadus, for its part, brings the whole grease range together under one brand.

The refresh covers oils such as the hydraulic Shell Tellus, the gear Shell oils Omala, the compressor Shell Corena, and the slideway Shell Tonna. And the entire range of greases now goes under the name Shell Gadus. All the products have received clear names that rule out confusion, and on top of that they’re classified by the level of protection they give machinery.

The company has also put out a special compatibility chart, letting you pick the right product based on what you were using before.

All the products come in special packaging distinguished by a colour scheme and clear pictograms that help you choose the material for a specific job.

The packaging has also been standardised to make logistics and storage easier.
