The Gulf brand has announced it is starting deliveries of a new engine oil lineup. New synthetic-based Gulf oils for passenger cars will be available for sale starting October 2011.

The new line includes:

  • Formula EFE 5W-30 — meets ACEA class C1,

  • Formula GX 5W-40 — meets ACEA class A3/B4 and API class SM/CF,

  • Formula FS 5W-30 — meets ACEA class A5/B5,

  • Formula LEF 5W-30 — meets ACEA class A5/B5/C2 and API class SL/CF,

  • Formula RNX 5W-30 — meets ACEA class C4,

  • Formula PCX 5W-30 — meets ACEA classes A5/B5 and C2 and API class SM/CF,

  • Max Supreme 5W-30 — meets API class SM as well as ILSAC class GF-4.

These new oils are intended for use in petrol and diesel engines. Their development drew on the latest technology. The product meets the most recent requirements set by carmakers and specifications. The new line of Gulf oils allows for longer intervals between services, provides reliable protection against wear, and minimises deposit buildup in the engine. Using them also cuts fuel consumption and the amount of harmful substances in exhaust gases.
