The range of engine oils sold under the ELF brand has grown by two new products at once: SOLARIS MSX 5W-30 and EXCELLIUM FULL-TECH 5W-30.

SOLARIS MSX 5W-30 is an oil that meets the highest requirements set by companies such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, GM and VW for cars fitted with modern three-way catalytic converters and particulate filters. The oil contains the most up-to-date package of low-ash additives, which, together with high-index Group III (API) base oils, prevents deposits of high-temperature carbon buildup as well as varnish in the combustion chamber and on the pistons. On top of that, these technologies extend spark plug life.

What sets this oil apart is a longer change interval, along with versatility across driving conditions: city cycle, highway, or mixed cycle. On top of that, the oil has received official approval from leading carmakers, and for owners of GM-brand cars this variant, according to the manufacturer, replaces the recommended products and can be used in engines where the DEXOS 2 and GM-LL-A/B-025 approvals are called for.

EXCELLIUM FULL-TECH 5W-30 is a cost-effective solution for owners of GM-brand cars. This engine oil combines a base oil made using patented technology with an additive package built to the requirements Opel and Mercedes-Benz set for oils intended for engines without particulate filters.
