Description

Motul 6100 SYN-NERGY 5W-30 is a Technosynthese synthetic full-SAPS engine oil from the 6100 line. It is intended for powerful petrol and diesel car engines that do not need a low-SAPS oil, notably those of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Renault and the VW Group. It runs on petrol, ethanol blends, LPG, diesel and biofuels.

The oil is rated ACEA A3/B4 and API SL and holds official BMW Longlife-01 approval. It meets the requirements of MB 229.5, Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, VW 502.00 and VW 505.00 without formal approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 12 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 161, HTHS 3.5 mPa·s, sulphated ash 1.45 %. Available in sizes from 1 to 208 litres.

Application

Cars with powerful petrol and diesel engines that do not require a low-SAPS oil, notably BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Renault and VW Group models, where the maker requires ACEA A3/B4.
