The Audi quattro® camp project became the latest stage in the growing partnership between one of the recognised leaders of world car manufacturing, the Audi concern, and a leading maker of automotive lubricants, Castrol. Under a recently extended technical partnership agreement, Castrol holds the exclusive right to supply oils and lubricants for the test and training vehicles of the “Yakhroma” fleet, developed as part of the Audi quattro® camp project.

Audi and Castrol's partnership goes back more than three decades: the engines of every car rolling off Audi's assembly lines are filled with Castrol engine oil. The companies' technical partnership is aimed at developing advanced technologies that improve lubricant quality, achieve maximum engine efficiency and simplify after-sales vehicle service.

In Russia, the partnership between these world-renowned brands is also developing actively. In December 2008, a five-year cooperation agreement between Audi Russia and Castrol came into force. Supplying Castrol lubricants to every unit of Audi's dealer network under the signed agreement has made it possible to shape competitive working conditions for the concern's dealers and improve service quality.

Castrol has served as the technical partner of the Audi quattro® camp project, one of Russia's largest test-drive venues, since 2009.
